Blogger Web Comments for Firefox

Google has released a new FireFox extension called Blogger Web Comments. It will show any related Blogger posts pointing to the page the user is visiting. I like this because it helps me read what people have to say about a particular web site or product on the page i am visiting. Kind of a first hand help from the users for the users. Something in those lines. One thing I have to complain about is hat it only shows Blogger posts related to that page. Can't say much though, because it is a Google extension linked to a Google service.

P.S. BTW, this is my first post done through the extension.

New Theme.

In the last few days I have gone on wave “Themes”. I am looking for all kinds of them. I am using them on FireFox, Windows, WordPress (although the hardest to do, because I have to modify them to fit the needs of my website), WinAmp, Windows Media Player.

While I was looking for a new theme for my WordPress Blog, I stumbled across Becca's web site, where she also offered Blogger themes. The one I picked and which you can see currently applied to this blog is called Imitate. So far I like it a lot. We will have to see, maybe in the future I will apply a different theme.

Extra Strength Boredom Relief

As I was surfing through blogs linked together on BlogExplosion I came across this one: Extra Strength Boredom Relief.

I find it pretty funny. Not sure why! Most of the entries on it seem dumb to some level. I guess it is just basic and very silly humor. Maybe I am just under the influence of the early morning, or maybe it is similar to Robbie's (I don't remember the link. I will update this entire with the link latter) his crazy crazy journal. Whatever it is, the blog is goofy and yet interesting. So, look through it, you might get a good laugh out of it!

Blogs Record.

I thought of something new to do whit this blog, today. I am just going to call it "Blogs Record". What I am actually going to do is make posts in which you will be able to find links to other Blogger blogs. Ones I have come across and found to be interesting.

That's it.

I have decided not to keep up this blog. Instead I will stick to my original one.

That’s it for now. Maybe in the future, from time to time, I might make a post here.

Masonic Habitat for Humanity

Today from 8:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M I will be working with the Masonic Habitat for Humanity. I have not done this before, but I think it will be interesting and also good experience. I am not sure what I will be doing. I do not even know if we will be fixing up an old house or building a new one. I certainly hope that there will be something technical or electrical to work on. We will have to wait and see. I will post more in the afternoon after I get back.

On another note, I think I will take some pictures of my fountain and my bonsai tree and post then here. The bonsai tree looks great now, after I added the little figure of three elders sitting around a table, drinking and talking. It looks cool, because the way the figure was designed, it endow with the sense that the three elders are looking at the tree and maybe discussing it. It’s really nice.

Categorizing on Blogger

Well, after further pocking around on Blogger and looking at other people’s profiles, I realized that the equivalent of categorizing entries is to create new blogs under your profile. On one had this is cool, because then you can have different designs/templates for different blogs. But the downfall to that is that you can not cross post, like I am doing with this post on the blog I host myself. In the blog I host myself, I can link a post to number categories I have created, that way it can be seen by anyone who monitors any one of the categories the post is linked to. With Blogger, unless I opt-out to repost in every blog, I will have to do extra linking just to have the post seen in every Blogger blog I have.
